Welcome to Defiance County, the heart of the Historic Maumee River Valley. Conveniently located an equal distance between Toledo, Ohio and Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Defiance is the midpoint of the new State Route 24 corridor. Defiance is a community with a great history and a matching aptitude for success.

The historic Maumee, AuGlaize and Tiffin rivers flow through the community creating a tranquil setting. At the confluence of these rivers, two mighty forts once stood. Today, those same riverbanks shelter fine homes, provide opportunity for recreation and border the vibrant downtown business district.

AntwerpRiverside Park, Antwerp

The Village of Antwerp, Ohio is a community of 1,761 residents located just 3 miles from the eastern border of the State of Indiana. A major transportation improvement was completed in October of 2009, which will provide the Village with a full exchange to the new four lane State Route 24 which will link Fort Wayne, Indiana to Toledo, Ohio.

The Village is ready for growth with a new water tower in place, an industrial park located just off the new highway, two new subdivisions and the Antwerp Local School which is consistently ranked in the State of Ohio as a "School of Excellence". So if you are looking for a community to call home, look no further than Antwerp, Ohio.


Paulding Ohio is a village of 3500 residents and has on the village square the county courthouse which was built in 1886. While primarily an agricultural center, there are several small industrial companies located in the village.

Highlights of the village include the Black Swamp Nature Center, Paulding County Carnegie Library, Lafountain Water Park, Paulding School System,Reservoir Park, Paulding Historical Museum, Paulding County Fairgrounds, and Paulding County Hospital.
